Registration Fees
Your registration fee includes admittance to educational workshops, workouts and lectures, session handouts onsite, CECs from Can-Fit-Pro, unlimited access to the trade show, admittance to opening ceremonies and keynote address, and delegate welcome reception. All prices are in Canadian dollars. Space in sessions is filled on a first received, first entered basis. Please register early to avoid disappointment. Payment must be received by the dates below in order to qualify for the appropriate rates. Pre-registration prices do not include 5% GST.

The last date to pre-register and submit session requests is August 1, 5:00 PM EST.

*Members: your professional membership must be current at the time of the conference. If your membership expires before the conference date, when registering please add the membership renewal of $49 to your subtotal.

Late and On-site Registration

Available August 2 - 8 and on-site. The fees are applicable to both members and non-members and include GST. The late and on-site fees do not include complimentary professional membership to Can-Fit-Pro. Please note that you may pay on-site by cash, debit, Visa, MasterCard and an exact money order – NO personal cheques please.

Can-Fit-Pro cannot guarantee space availability for late or on-site registrations as admittance to sessions is on a stand-by basis only. On-site registration is non-refundable.

The Sears National Kids Cancer Ride is a volunteer-based event and does not use the services of professional fundraising organizations. Support comes from many generous companies that provide goods and services at no charge or greatly reduced prices. This ensures the full power of your donation benefits the childhood cancer charities. If you would like to contribute to this charity, you may make a donation when you register for the conference. You may phone in your registration using Visa or MasterCard. Your completed registration form, including session requests, signature for credit card authorization and signed waiver of liability must be received within 7 days by fax or mail. Make sure to check-off the box: “Check here if previously registered by phone” to avoid duplicate billing. Session requests are not taken by phone. Registering by phone will guarantee you the current conference rate; session requests are assigned on a first received, first entered basis. Please send in session requests as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

Payment
Payment must be included with each method of registration. Registrations without payment will not be processed. If you are paying by cheque, coupon, voucher or credit note you must mail in your registration; please do not fax. Registrations with NSF cheques are subject to an administration fee of $25 (plus applicable taxes), and will not be processed.

Session Requests
Customize your itinerary to meet your professional needs - choose the sessions that will enhance your conference experience and career. You must fill in the digits of the session codes in the spaces provided on the Session Request form. We ask you to fill in your first through forth requests for each time slot to ensure that you are registered for a session of your choice.

Stand-By Procedure
If all session requests are full you will be assigned a “Stand-By” status, which allows you to attend any session during that time slot on a space-available basis. You will be admitted to the session after the pre-registered delegates. Equipment may not be available for stand-by delegates. Pre-registered delegates: you risk losing your space in a session if you arrive late. Please arrive at least 10-15 minutes prior to the start of the session.

Student Early Bird Rate
As part of our 15th Anniversary Celebration this special promotion provides students with a complimentary 1-year Professional Membership including all the regular professional member benefits, and an electronic version of the Can-Fit-Pro Magazine.

The membership offer is for students who take out a new membership within calendar 2008. To be eligible for this special rate, you must complete the online student application and submit your verification of student status prior to registering for the conference.

Delegate Referral Incentive
If you refer a brand new delegate (someone who has never been to our Toronto conference before), we will give you a $15 gift certificate to use for any Can-Fit-Pro product or service valid until December 2008! Have your friend indicate that they are “new” on their registration form, and have them write your name on the “referred by” line. The gift certificate will be included in your delegate kit.

Group Discounts
Groups of five or more: are eligible for a discount of $15 off each delegate’s registration (before tax).

Groups of 10 or more: are eligible for an additional complimentary registration. When 10 delegates pay for the conference, an eleventh delegate can attend for free and all members in the group receive the $15 discount. Clearly indicate the name of the person to receive the complimentary registration on the cover sheet.

Please send complete group’s registrations by fax or mail and include a cover sheet listing all people in the group. If one member of the group is paying by cheque, then all registrations must be received by mail.

If Your Employer is Paying for Your Registration
Regardless of who is paying for your registration, payment must accompany your registration. Registration without payment will not be processed. Sorry, no purchase orders and no invoicing. Payments must be received by the deadlines in order to qualify for early-bird discounts. Receipts are issued in the names of the conference delegates – no exceptions.

Tax Deduction
Did you know that your conference fees may be tax deductible? Your official receipt will be given on-site as part of your delegate kit. Consult your tax advisor for details.

Partial Registrations
Single session registrations are not available. It is not permissible to split a registration between two people. Refunds or credits will not be issued for partially used registrations (i.e. left early on conference day). Delegates found violating this rule will be expelled from the conference without refund.

Confirmation of Registration
Registrations received at least two weeks in advance of the event will be confirmed by email or mail. Check if your registration and sessions were received and processed by visiting the registration confirmation list at www.canfitpro.com. Your official payment receipt will be provided on-site as part of your delegate kit.

Picking Up Your Delegate Kit
To pick up your delegate kit you must present photo ID and your confirmation letter. You are not permitted to pick up a delegate kit belonging to another person. You must pick up your kit before attending any sessions or the keynote address. Friday morning is our busiest time; allow yourself at least one hour before your first session. We strongly suggest you pick up your delegate kit on Wednesday or Thursday if possible.

Attending Sessions
To attend sessions you must present your wristband and name tag at the session room entrance. The reverse side of your name tag will list the sessions that you have pre-registered for. Please have your name tag ready for review by the room monitor when entering sessions. To maintain the integrity of the conference, only paying delegates, volunteers and those approved by Can-Fit-Pro are invited to attend sessions. Any attendees found violating these rules will be removed from the venue and their Can-Fit-Pro membership and certification(s) will be revoked.

Handouts
Couldn’t attend all of the conference sessions that you wanted to? All session handouts (if submitted by presenters) will be posted on our website after the event. Delegates can retrieve the files for an access fee of only $10. Use your email address and Can-Fit-Pro membership ID to login. Please add the handout access fee to your conference registration if interested.

Cancellation Policy
If a delegate has chosen not to attend the Can-Fit-Pro conference, he/she may cancel their registration providing the cancellation request is received in writing at least two weeks prior to the event (by August 1, 2008). Delegates who cancel prior to the two week deadline will be charged $25 (plus applicable taxes) cancellation fee. Refunds will not be issued less than two weeks prior to the conference date.
