Take time out to tune in to your own inner world. Together in this session, we will explore the path of yoga and your own sva dharma (your self purpose). We will follow with a practice that is slow and progressive in nature following the principles of vinyasakrama or evolutionary stages to allow time for self exploration and mindfulness. You will leave feeling physically centered, mentally clear, and spiritually nurtured. This session is a wonderful opportunity to take time to digest all that you have gathered on your path so far. How do you successfully choreograph a class? Experience how music can be used as the ultimate motivational tool. Learn how to bring exercise and music together to create an effective workout that you can use over and over again. Get inspired by music that moves you and capture the excitement that keeps members coming back to your class. This portion of the workshop will be presented by Marietta Mehanni. Katherine McLarty will continue with Fluid Yoga Tai-Lates. Isolate, strengthen and lengthen all your muscles to improve posture, flexibility and function. Discover how the multi-dimensional properties of the water allow the exercises to progress from simple to challenging and dynamic. The water, a noodle and resistance band replicate land exercises performed on the mat, reformer, cadillac, barrel and chair, challenging the muscles of the body in all planes of movement. This session is one hour and 30 minutes.
