Personal trainers know that it is often a challenge to keep clients on track when they are not with them. Often times the client’s lack of compliance is due to a lack of buy-in to the program. Using client-centered motivational interviewing techniques, personal trainers will be able to better help their clients find success reaching their goals. This session will introduce the basic tenets of motivational interviewing and discuss how to integrate them to get more out of their client, both in session and beyond.
