Member Experience Advisor

Position Title: Member Experience Advisor
Status: Full Time, Permanent, Hourly
Reports to: Member Experience Manager
Location: 225 Select Ave., Toronto

Overview:

This position will provide excellent service experience and guidance to canfitpro’s members and contact network through inbound and outbound sales and education. The successful candidate will sell, educate and service inbound and outbound contacts by phone, email, fax and data processing.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Determine member needs, educate and introduce solutions
  •  Identify and assess customer’s needs to achieve client satisfaction and retention
  • Ensure delivery of excellent customer service through fast and accurate processing of member
    inquiries, while effectively managing large volumes of incoming calls
  • Generate sales from inbound and outbound calls and offer up-sell opportunities
  • Meet personal/team sales targets and call handling quota
  • Build sustainable relations of trust through open and interactive communication
  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Handle complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternative within the time limits and follow
    up to ensure resolution
  • Maintain knowledge of company products, services, and events in order to promote course and
    event registrations
  • Inbound and outbound call center experience is an asset

Skills and Qualifications:

  • A High School diploma and some university or college education
  • Computer skills including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, and Internet
  • Ability to multi-task, work independently and as part of a team
  • Superior customer service and data entry skills
  • Verbal communication and building relations skills
  • Demonstrate a passion for fitness
  • Entrepreneurial attitude and high degree of self motivation within a driven sales environment
  • Ability to think creatively and develop effective strategies for generating new business
  • Effective organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to provide solutions and make recommendations

Employment Conditions:

  • Able to work full time hours (9:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.)
  • Evening, weekend, and travel may be required

Certification Development Administrator

Position Title: Certification Development Administrator
Status: Full Time, Permanent, Salaried
Reports to: Certification Manager

Overview:

The Certification Development Administrator is responsible for completing all aspects of certification program revisions and creation including, but not limited to, author communication and selection, coherence of information, respect of timelines, and preparation of educational materials and budgeting and evaluation procedures. This role collaborates with multiple teams at canfitpro to ensure the best education is provided to the fitness industry.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Complete all aspects of certification program revisions and/or creation including author
    communication and selection, coherence of information, respect of timelines, preparation of
    materials etc.
  • Develop implementation plan for each program including processes, policies, web and print
    schedules, as well as communication pieces to our partners (i.e. PRO TRAINERS, members,
    colleges and universities).
  • Develop product knowledge training sessions for staff on new programs and their
    implementation
  • Undertake curriculum and course design and deliver material to accommodate study at various
    levels, using appropriate teaching, facilitation, learning support and assessment methods,
    reviewing and improving when necessary.
  • Develop and apply appropriate examination techniques and materials to create understanding
    and enthusiasm amongst students.
  • Track and monitor program success to implement
  • Assist with special tasks and projects when needed

Qualifications:

  • Minimum two years of experience in the fitness industry
  • Valid certification as personal trainer or fitness instructor

  • Knowledge of the fitness industry

  • Ability to set objectives and goals and break down work into the process steps
  • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to quickly and easily adapt to unexpected situations
  • Sound computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook and Access
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast pace environment
