As the leader in the fitness industry on stability ball training, Resist-A-Ball®, Inc. now offers two levels of training with specialty courses for specific training disciplines. Developed by Mike and Stephanie Morris, these courses will prepare you for a complete understanding of the proper technique, proper progression and benefits of stability ball training. C.O.R.E Level 1

Resist-A-Ball C.O.R.E. Level One

This course is designed to teach participants the general guidelines in understanding the benefits of stability ball training along with a hands-on practical instruction on the selected strength and flexibility exercises recommended to begin a ball program. Participants will learn the proper execution, proper progression, teaching techniques and cueing for all the selected exercises. This course also includes strength exercises utilizing the ball and elastic tubing for added resistance. No prior experience is necessary to attend the course, and this course is recommended as a prerequisite for all other Resist-A-Ball® training.

CECs: canfitpro 4 FIS, PTS

An optional multiple choice exam is included with paid registration and may be taken by the Resist-A-Ball course participant. Successful completion of the exam results in Resist-A-Ball® Certification.

C.O.R.E Level 2

Resist-A-Ball C.O.R.E. Level Two

This hands-on practical workshop includes an in-depth analysis of the more challenging Resist-A-Ball® strength exercises. Participants will also experience how the Resist-A-Ball® becomes a unique, portable and dynamic bench with added free weights. Learn how to replace traditional exercises with new motor learning strength challenges using dumbbells. The course includes a variety of stretches to complement the more advanced selected strength exercises. Move up to the next level in Resist-A-Ball® training with the exercises that require more core stabilization, strength and balance. Resist-A-Ball® C.O.R.E. Instructor Training or experience in stability training is recommended as a prerequisite to this course.

Pilates with RAB

Pilates with Resist-A-Ball

Uniquely adapted to the Resist-A-Ball®, this certification includes the ball combined with the 34 Pilates mat work exercises. This program combines the disciplines of Resist-A-Ball and Pilates that results in improved core strength, balance, coordination and flexibility with a series of controlled non-impact movements. The added weight and balance challenge of the Resist-A-Ball® adds a whole new dimension to Pilates training. Enjoy this exciting new certification that will provide you with the information you need to offer a program utilizing the benefits of both Resist-A-Ball® and Pilates.

Yoga with RAB

Yoga with Resist-A-Ball

Resist-A-Ball® guides you through an all-new specialty certification blending classic Hatha Yoga postures with the Resist-A-Ball®. We have found that the Resist-A-Ball® actually makes Hatha Yoga more accessible to a wider range of body types and fitness levels. The support of the ball allows the body to roll into positions with progression developing muscular strength and stabilization during the training process. This unique tool can allow positions to become easier or more challenging depending upon the postures. "Yoga with Resist-A-Ball®" certification is the information you need to offer a relaxing and stress-free mind-body program for your clients and group classes.
