Chair Fitness Part 1 - Cardio & The Core

They say sitting can be hazardous to your health. Well, not always! Exercising in – or with – a chair can be both fun and effective. The chair is an apparatus that can be used as a prop to assist and enhance exercises for all the major muscle groups. In part 1 of this workshop we'll examine cardio fitness and core strength training and put into practice heart-pumping segments of choreography with modifications for all groups. We'll use easy and accessible equipment, like towels and Bender balls, to create exercises that target the core. Come out and feel energized exercising in a chair.
