Falls Prevention & Balance Training

Falls can happen to anyone, but for those over the age of 65, falls are a leading cause of injury. Mobility, stability, strength & functional movement are essential to performing the activities of daily living. We will investigate both intrinsic & extrinsic factors that may contribute to falls & suggest strategies to reduce these risks. Different commonly used tools & equipment will be examined, reviewed & incorporated to enhance training & exercise modules to work with different clients & group classes. Balance & falls prevention is for everyone!
