The Fitness Manager is responsible for developing their direct reports and growing the number of personal trainers, net Client gain, and serviced hours at their Club. The Fitness Manager must ensure a high standard of professionalism, results-based programming, and profitability in the Personal Training department. The Fitness Manager is an integral part of successful Club Operations and must strive to create an engaging and motivating environment that attracts and retains both Associates and Clients. The Fitness Manager will also service Clients directly as part of their responsibilities.
What will you be doing?
Recruiting, selecting, onboarding, and developing a successful team of Personal Trainers
Leading your Personal Training Team through coaching and development to achieve Club Key Performance Indicators
Managing the Personal Training experience by ensuring all Personal Training sessions are serviced according to GoodLife standards
Managing Personal Training administration
Building and maintaining your own client list
Training your clients so they achieve their health and fitness goals
Working closely with all departments in the club to enhance the overall club culture
Do you have what it takes?
•Must have current, nationally recognized Personal Training certification
•Minimum 1-year Personal Training experience
•Proven success in leading, training, and motivating diverse teams to achieve performance goals
•Success in achieving individual and team service and sales goals
•Skilled in customer service, building great relationships, and influencing others
•Passion for helping others, and a commitment to personal health and fitness
•Committed to contributing to a culture that celebrates diversity, equity & inclusion, and values giving back to communities
•Ability to consistently live our Core Values of Caring, Happiness, Integrity, Peak Attitude, Passion, Personal Fitness, and Trust
