Katy Forand
Katy is a versatile and experienced educator with a passion for fitness, having dedicated 20 years to the industry. Her journey began in 2004 with group exercise and aqua fitness, which quickly expanded to include personal training and group cycling. In addition, Katy brings over 15 years of experience as an Early Childhood Educator, holding a Level 2 Classification and working with Nova Scotia’s Pre-Primary program.
A lifelong learner, Katy has pursued a wide range of training opportunities, including every Zumba Fitness discipline, TRX Suspension training, BOSU, PiYo, Piloxing, Schwinn Cycling, Meditation, 200Hr Yoga Teacher Training, Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Somatic Release, Thai Yoga Massage, and more.
In 2016, she became a PRO TRAINER with canfitpro, continuing a legacy started by her parents and certifying individuals in CPR & AED as well as FIS. With a contagious sense of fun and joy, Katy brings an engaging energy to all of her classes, courses, and workshops.
