Health and fitness is not just a passion for me, it is an important part of my life. I was diagnosed with diabetes in my early twenties and immediately prescribed multiple medications. My quality of life began to further decline, as did my mental health. Within a matter of years, I was dealing with depression, further weight gain and a torn ACL. I knew I needed to make a change not only for my physical, but also my mental health. I began going to the gym, researching nutrition, fitness and anything health related I could find to help me move forward in my journey.

By making physical activity a priority, the gym had not only become a place of physical strength, but also mental strength. I discovered I had a passion for fitness that went beyond helping myself. I knew I could help improve the lives of others the way I had improved my own. This desire to help others led me to become a personal trainer. I have more than seven years experience in the fitness industry helping people change their lives and write their own stories. I have also spent the last five years working one on one with other trainers, helping them better themselves, and build their businesses.

I have a wonderfully supportive partner and three beautiful daughters. We enjoy spending time together as a family, enjoy the outdoors and always find time to laugh. I have a passion for powerlifting, fitness mace and learning new things whenever I can.
