Area of speciality: Powerlifting, Group Fitness (Sports Conditioning), Pre-and Post Natal FitnessAmanda is a national level competitor and referee through the Canadian Powerlifting Union. She is a certified powerlifting coach though the Canadian Powerlifting Union and certified through the Manitoba Fitness Council with the National Fitness Leadership Association as a group instructor in sports conditioning and pre-and post natal fitness.
Jorie is the director of sport dietetics for the Canadian Sport Centre Manitoba and holds a private practice working with corporate health and wellness, and athletes with disordered eating. She received her undergrad degree at the University of Manitoba and furthered her education with the IOC Diploma in Sport Nutrition, and is a Certified Life Coach. Some of her experiences have come from working with Olympic/Paralympic athletes, the NHL, RWB, RCMP, and Sport Medicine Fellowships.
Stephanie Jeffrey BMGNT holds almost 25 years of experience in recreation, fitness and community development. She believes in not only talking about physical activity but getting out and being active. In addition to her role as the Executive Director of the Manitoba Fitness Council, she is a certified fitness leader, leading classes weekly.
Tyson is the Strength and Speed Director and Senior Kettlebell Instructor for Agatsu, a Barbell Special Strengths Coach, IYCA Speed and Agility Specialist, Muay Thai Instructor, Registered Massage Therapist and the Owner/Head Instructor of Akashi-Do Martial Arts in St. Albert.
Kathryn McKenzie is a health and fitness expert who owns Surefire Fitness in Winnipeg. A multi-sport athlete, she earned her Bachelor of Human Kinetics and Bachelor of Education degrees at the University of British Columbia. She is a best-selling author, finalist for Canadian Fitness Professional of the Year, and the health & fitness expert on the CJOB radio morning show. She helps people become healthier by challenging their current thougths and expectations and by encouraging them to eat well, keep moving, and have more fun! She loves sports, enjoys travelling, and is slightly addicted to chocolate.
Shawn Mozen is the foremost authority on Kettlebell training in Canada. Considered the father of Canadian Kettlebell training and recognized world wide as an authority on Kettlebells, martial arts and functional fitness. Shawn was one of the first Canadian’s to be certified in Kettlebell Sport in Russia. Shawn travels the world every year giving seminars to fitness professionals and the general public.
Eddie is the Personal Training Divisional Manager at GoodLife Fitness with a demonstrated history of working in the health wellness and fitness industry.
Trisha provides strategic counsel for Fitness Industry Canada's corporate affairs and professional communications. She produces articles for various publications, manages event coordination, and executes national campaigns. She is an accomplished business communications and media relations professional with a proven track record of influencing public opinion, policy, and legislative changes across Canada.
Health and wellness has been a focus of Daniel's life from an early age. As a two-sport athlete at the collegiate level he excelled on both the basketball and football field. Soon after attending the Pro-Combine and dipping his foot in professional football waters he made a radical decision to pursue a career as a fitness professional. Over a decade later, Daniel has crafted himself into a high level educator and one of the top young fitness minds from the Toronto area. He is the founder of onlythestrongINC and Wellness Branded Education Team and as a PRO TRAINER with canfitpro, he has received the “Best in the Business” award in both 2018 & 2019
Megan began working in the fitness industry in 2012 to help grow bootcamps in Portage la Prairie. She developed a love for Crossfit and powerlifting as both an athlete and a coach. She provides 1-on-1, group training and dryland training. She has worked with people of all fitness and athletic levels and takes pride in helping each client reach their personal goals.
Paul began powerlifting at an early age, so it’s no surprise that he went on to compete nationally. He approaches his own training with patience and resolve and brings that same attitude to his clients. He specializes in Powerlifting/Strength Training, Body Building and Conditioning.
